The Seat

Since about 2000 the seat on the Bullet has undergone a redesign to make it a more comfortable affair than the original. I find it very comfortable however many owners are now replacing the factory dual seat with either single or double after-market solo saddles.

There are many different options with these from European/US-made units to saddles made in India. I think many owners fit them out of comfort requirements plus they do add a certain period correctness to the bike.

For now I am happy with the look and comfort of the standard seat however I have added a padded backrest to increase the riding comfort for my wife who is a regular pillion. The rest I bought was designed for the older style seat and as such the mounting holes were slightly out, easily fixed with a drill.
